Playback Requirements and Help:

All streams are broadcast on the following ports:

TCP/IP on port 1755, 554 - Recommended Port!
UDP on ports 1024-5000
HTTP on port 443

Your hardware/software firewall must be configured to accept streams on these ports.

If you are experiencing constant rebuffering, then temporarily disable UDP streaming in Windows Media Player ( Tools|Options|Network).

Windows Media Player 9 or later is required to view this webcast.

If you are unable to view this video then please do the following:

Identify your Windows Media Player version (Help|About Windows Media Player).

Either upgrade your Windows Media Player to Version 9, or add Windows Media 9 Codec Series support to your current player. See table below:

Operating System

Recommended Action

Mac OS 8.X or 9.X

Media Player 9 is N/A for this operating system but is supported in OS/X

Upgrade to Media Player 7. You will not be able to view Windows Media 9 video streams.

Mac OS/X

Upgrade to Media Player 9 for OS/X.

There is currently a "bug" in Windows Media Player for OSX that forces Windows Media Player to default to the lowest bitrate stream (i.e., 56k) irrespective of your connection bandwidth. This issue will likely be fixed in the next Windows Media Update. We will be separating the streams after the webcast.

We do not recommend installation of the Flip4Mac plugin. Use Media Player instead.

Linux

Purchase CrossOver Office Standard/Professional from CodeWeavers and install Windows Media Player. You will not be able to view Windows Media 9 streams but you will be able to view Windows Media 7-8 streams. It may be possible to install Windows Media Player 9, but it is not supported by CodeWeavers at this time. orInstall Mplayer or

Install Xine (read the FAQ on installing the Windows Media 9 codecs) .

We are unable to provide installation or troubleshooting support for the above applications.

Windows 95/NT

Upgrade to Media Player 6.4 and install the Windows Media 9 codec update package for Media player 6.4

Windows 98

Upgrade to Media Player 7.1 and install the Windows Media 9 codec installation package.

Windows 98 SE, ME, XP, 2000 with Windows Media Player versions prior to version 9

Upgrade to Windows Media Player 9+

If you are unable to install Windows Media Player 9 or the Windows Media Codec Series please contact your system administrator. Installation of the aforementioned items requires Administrator privilages.
